I created Capture by Alex because I wanted to bring journalistic and natural wedding photography to Long Island. A style that skips the bossy posing, table-to-table photos while people are eating, and the memory from your big day that you spent more time posing than living it. Let’s skip all of that.

I photograph each wedding like it’s my last chance to capture the moment because in a way it is. By the end of the night when the bottom of your dress is no longer the same color it was when you first put it on and your partner is possibly no longer wearing his tie (or shirt? I’ve seen it happen) that’ll be it and what you get are photos that make sure you can live it again and again.
