For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in photography, but for too long the fear of how each of the million buttons on a digital camera worked stopped me from learning. One day I decided it was time to take the leap so I signed up to a beginners course, quickly became obsessed to learn the art, and the rest is history…

A huge trigger point for me in appreciating the importance of capturing special memories was the day my son was born, and since then an ongoing wakeup call as to just how quickly time does fly. I am extremely fortunate to have parents who obsessively snapped away when I was little, and still to this day those photographs often come out (although there a few I wish would just disappear).

The real love of photography for me however comes from seeing other people’s enjoyment of the moments I capture. Whilst smart phone cameras are improving every year, there is still something quite distinguishable and unique about a shot taken through ‘real glass’, or in other words, an extortionately priced lens. Yes that’s right, I managed to pick one of the most expensive hobbies going……don’t tell the wife!

Anybody who knows me will tell you I am pedantic perfectionist who genuinely takes a huge amount of pride in every client I work with, I simply will not release photos that do not meet my best standards.
