Relaxed, informal, contemporary wedding photography

  • About me

I  first became interested in photography aged about 11 when I asked for a “point and shoot” film camera for Christmas. Soon after that I picked up my first serious camera and, as a teenager, would borrow books from the library, take notes, and go out with my camera to try to recreate the ideas I had seen in textbooks.  Role forward 20 years or so and you would find me then chief photographer for the Stamford Mercury (England’s oldest continually published newspaper) shooting thousands of press and PR images every month.

After several years I returned to my true passion of wedding and social event photography (though I do have a separate commercial photography business) and still love every wedding that I photograph – which means I put absolutely everything I can in to making the record of your day as special and personal to you as it can possibly be.

I would love to hear from you if you think I might be able to help in any way with your event – try giving me a call or email me for some initial advice – I love to hear your ideas and thoughts for your day and am very  happy to offer my advice based on over three decades of experience.
